Production samples (not showroom samples). Test them yourself. Check build quality, verify specifications, test under real conditions. Never skip this step.
✅ Step 4: Lock Your Payment Terms
30% deposit + 70% after inspection — this is the industry standard structure. Never pay 100% upfront to a new supplier. Use corporate bank accounts, not personal transfers.
✅ Step 5: Third-Party QC Inspection
EL testing, IV curve tracing, visual checks, packaging verification. For orders over $5,000, professional inspection is not optional — it’s your insurance policy.
✅ Step 6: Choose FOB or DDP
First order? Go DDP — one price, door-to-door, zero logistics headache. Experienced? Switch to FOB and use your own forwarder to save 10-20%.
✅ Step 7: Prepare Documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, all certifications. Have everything ready before the container docks — customs delays are expensive.
